With a mailbox at Parcel Room, you get a real street address, not a P.O. Box number. If you’re a business owner, having a real street address as your mailbox can provide you with a professional image for your business. Parcel Room also offers many additional services that the post office does not, such as package acceptance from all carriers, package notification via emai and caller in service, all aimed to save you valuable time.

Your mailing address will be the address of Parcel Room location, with either PMB (private mailbox) or the pound symbol (#) designating your individual box. Instead of Parcel Room your name appears first. Example: Joe Smith PMB XXX 1465 Woodbury Ave Portsmouth , NH 03801

Parcel Room offers various mailboxes sizes: small, medium, large, X-large, and corporate.


The mailbox service agreement is an agreement between Parcel Room location and the box holder for the duration you receive mail at that location.

You can visit the store and complete the forms or download them and follow the instruction sheet. If you don't come in then you must have the documents notarized by a US Notary.

Three months is the minimum rental period; after the first three months you can change to monthly.

Have a look at the sizes we offer, the staff can show you roughly how much will fit inside a box before it starts becoming a problem. If the box overflows every once in a while, it is not a problem; we simply replace the mail with a package slip. If it overflows on a regular basis you will be moved into a next size larger fee structure; we won't change boxes, just add space on the shelves for your mail.

If you expect a continued increase in the volume of mail you receive, you may wish to upgrade to a larger mailbox better suited for your needs. We have several options, we can open a VIP box that simply means we keep your mail in a special location and hand it to you when you come in to collect it.

You can receive packages from any carrier with your mailbox agreement. FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL and even freight carriers deliver to our location. In some cases we require additional fees for freight receiving.

Yes. we can hold your mail for you until you return from a long business trip or a relaxing vacation. We ask that you pick up your mail on a regular basis; please let us know if you will be away.

Store business hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 til 6PM and Saturday 10AM til 3PM for package pick up. Mailbox holders may have 24-hour access to their box with purchase of a 24-hour access key.

You can add the names of up to 5 individuals/businesses authorized to receive mail at your mailbox. Each recipient will need to provide two valid forms of identification in order to complete the mandatory PS Form 1583. Each add on pays a $5.00 set up fee. Can other people pick up mail at my mailbox? Yes. You can permit people to pick up your mail by lending them the key to your mailbox. Possession of the mailbox key shall be considered valid evidence that the possessor of the key is duly authorized to remove any contents from the mailbox. We cannot nor will not hand out mail to anyone not listed as the owner of the box.

Yes. We offer U.S. Postal Service stamps and other mail services. There is a service fee added to postal services and stamps.

Yes. In addition to postage stamps, Parcel Room also offers domestic and international services including Priority Mail®, Express Mail®, Parcel Post®, First Class®, Delivery Confirmation™, Certified Mail and Return Receipt. Surcharge is applied to all Postal Services.

Your mail can be stored for as long as you need it. Holding of mail is free for the first 30 days, and if you need storage for a longer period of time, you can do so for a small additional monthly fee.

We accept mail, UPS, FedEx, DHL and even freight shipments. Our staff will sort the letter or packages and enter into our system and send you an email alert upon its arrival.

We scan everything that comes into the box, if it is a package we will scan the front so you can get the information about who it's from. Magazines and catalogs we scan the cover, you decide to have it forwarded or shredded. We will scan and store your mail for a month, then you decide to have it forwarded or shredded. The forwarding is done at our regular rates, the shredding is included in your service.

Our mail forwarding service ensures that you receive only the packages and letters you really want. You simply choose which items you want, where and when you want them sent, and we'll forward them on to you at any destination in the world! You can choose the service level of forwarding from First Class, Priority Mail, Priority Express, UPS, FedEx and DHL. The cost for forwarding is $1.00 plus the our regular shipping rates for the service requested.

Anything addressed specifically to your name will be delivered and will count towards your account limit. We can not run the risk of mistakenly destroying any mail that is wanted.

All First class (and up) mail disposed of in our facility is shredded.

When adding an account for another person, they must fill out the US Postal 1583 form. If you will be receiving mail for an estate, please attach an executor’s letter as well.
